Assuming the render count remains steady you're right but it's entirely possible DPC might choose to focus on more complex scenes featuring more characters or a denser render count with more pictures per scene.

I'm assuming 6 months as I doubt it'll be much longer than that so I'm unlikely to be dissappointed.

DPC seems to be an ambitious guy. He's always trying something new, because of this fact, i think he may try to go for bigger and better updates, instead of going for just faster ones.

If so, for me we will still continue the 4-5 month cycle that we're in now. But we will also get more and better content out of it. That's what i hope for, at least.

Yes could be. If they have a set time plan maybe then what you say could be a good thing.

I've got a Jill-only save for just such an emergency. I can't tell you how awful it is for me to turn away Sage. But, I'm doing it for the greater good. I do it so you fine people don't have to. I think I deserve an AVN medal for taking that bullet. A porn game Légion d'honneur or something.

as a DIK you can declare yourself to Jill after the picnic, at which point if DPC stops MC from continuing with Jill it would be a stretch.

with LIs for now there is no real limitation for affinity, the fact that some of them have a preferred affinity (with Josy it is not so clear) does not seem to be so limiting

I suspect the MC's thoughts while staring at Jill's photo foreshadow a big choice coming up somewhat soon: commit to Jill (at least in words) or break things off before they go much farther. IMHO, if the MC gets past the whole Tybalt blackmail thingy, he's going to have to make some level of commitment to Jill to advance her romance. Part of that could easily come down to Jill either rejecting DIK MCs (a la M&J), or her asking for exclusivity that DIKs will auto-refuse.

Just my opinion, of course, but I don't Jill as someone who wants casual sex. And if it IS possible to cheat on her after giving her that commitment, well, I think Jill will be extremely hurt. The MC might be too, if Bella still has her axe...

that would be a very infamous scenario for DPC

MC declares himself to Jill, somehow solves Tybalt's problem (which we remember is only partially his responsibility and not at all for us players) and then he is forced to give up Jill as a matter of affinity?

if instead it was Jill who turned him down after the picnic and the declaration scene she would do it only to take Maya's place ...

if Jill had to refuse MC it would have made more sense if she did it right now, that for affinity she decided not to talk to him about the problem, or that she dumped him when, at the picnic, he confessed to being responsible for the accident in the Preps' home (also giving blame Derek in the case)

you want another civil war

entirely another matter if Jill, in that moment after solving Tyblat blackmail, didn't take MC seriously for the many adventures he could possibly have at stake

The betrayal will be on the part of one of them or the crisis in the relationship.

I think in the scene where Bella is helping MC at DIK cleaning up the library, in a dialogue, MC asks Bella "what has changed", I think that day she decided to give up her husband.

One thing is certain...James is going to play a part in future episodes, alive or dead. I personally think he is alive and will return to come in between MC and Bella. That obstacle will have to be overcome at some point if MC is to continue with a Bella path. MC's actions (game choices) will determine if Bella chooses to accept James back into her life or give up on him and accept MC instead. I also think Bella can either go down a dark path or be saved from it, again, depending on the choices you made throughout the story.
